Tampa man wanted for shooting two people at gas station, deputies say

TAMPA — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said its searching for a 26-year-old Tampa man in connection to a Thursday shooting at a gas station.

Elisaha Black, 26, is who deputies believe fired the gunshots that wounded a man and woman about 3:05 a.m. in the parking lot of the Mobil gas station at 13164 N Florida Ave. The Sheriff’s Office said it obtained an arrest warrant for Black on two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Deputies said Black fled in a white Nissan Altima. The extent of the injuries suffered by the victims and their current medical condition was not disclosed by the Sheriff’s Office.

“Surveillance from inside of the gas station gives us a decent view of the suspect in this case,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister in a statement. “If you recognize him or know where our deputies can locate him, please call us with that information.”
